Save the date for our Fall Market! Come on out to enjoy our farm and have an amazing shopping experience at one of our well-loved, community markets. We will have live music, 40+ Farmers & Artisans, a photo booth, and of course, Icelandic sheep. Fun for the whole family!

Learn how to build an Indigo dye bath and use it to colour our Icelandic yarn. We will prep the fibre, forage for additional natural materials on the farm, build our baths and dye our yarn with a variety of natural indigo based colours that you’ve created.

Early beginner or 1st time spinner? This is a great workshop for you! Bring your own spinning wheel. You will be in great hands with experienced spinner Jane Steeves and of course, you will meet our sheep, the makers of the wool! This class is limited in participants to ensure lots of personal attention. By the end of the class, expect to have a unique skein of yarn to take home!
Includes Icelandic roving, light refreshments and quality time with our sheep! Bring your own wheel and bagged lunch.

Join us for a creative, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to transform a simple piece of denim into a unique, hand-felted patch! Whether you’re mending your favorite jeans or adding a personal touch to a jacket, this session will introduce you to the relaxing and versatile art of needle felting. This class is a beginner needle felting class for adults. No experience necessary. A variety of skills will be taught including: how to form a core shape; apply even layers of wool; avoid needle marks; form appendages and attach them to create a figure; and how to work with and apply natural locks to give your gnome hair. Each participant will create an adorable, one of a kind gnome to take home.

Learn to weave with artist, Cheryl Sheridan of The Barn Studio. You will learn to make a beautiful one-of-a-kind wool scarf or shawl, on a 4-shaft table loom, using our Icelandic wool. No experience necessary! Workshop includes: wool yarn from our Icelandic sheep, use of fully dressed 4 shaft table loom, instruction, handouts, refreshments and time with our sheep! Bring your own lunch & enjoy your time on the farm.

This class is an introduction to wet felting. Learn how to layer fibre to form an enclosure over a bar of soap. Felted soap is an eco-friendly way to wash and gently exfoliate your skin in the bath or shower. It also helps your soap last longer. When your soap runs out, use the wool as a cleaning scrubby or throw in your compost! Participants will each make 2 felted soaps to take home. Light refreshments & farm tour are included! You will also have time to spend time with our sheep - the makers of our wool!

This is a beginner needle felting class on how to create a picture with wool. In this workshop you will learn how to layout a base and blend natural colours using a variety of needle felting techniques. You will take home a small framed original piece of art. Click the link below to register.

Learn how to create a funky artistic wall hanging, rug or chair pad from raw Icelandic fleece. Each person will receive their own full fleece and can choose whether to create one large piece or several smaller ones. This is a fun, physical, wet/messy class so please dress appropriately. This class is an intro to wet felting using a resist to form a 3-dimensional object. You will learn how to layer your fibre evenly for uniform shrinkage, and how to know when you have reached a “felt stage” and when to shrink. You will also learn surface design and structure for finishing your felt. Participants will create a unique vessel to take home.
